HTM, the largest management company in Niseko, Hokkaido is looking for an experienced and driven food services professional to assist with the ordering and logistics for Kumo Restaurant, Skye Niseko Deli and FoodWork. This will include having a hand in arranging supply chains, stock control management and delivery logistics. This is an integral role to HTM's F&B department and will contribute to the product that we deliver.

The successful applicant will bring the knowledge, experience and drive to continue HTM's position as market leader in Niseko.

The Role

Responsibilities include, yet not limited to;

  • F&B supplier invoice processing and data entry
  • Printing, receiving and organising daily input/output and delivery notes for deliveries to all F&B outlets
  • F&B outlet inventory data entry and calculations for monthly reports
  • F&B driver communication and delivery logistics
  • Placing orders with vendors for F&B outlets, kitchen, office, and guest supplies
  • Create F&B Purchase Orders and receiving appropriate signatures
  • F&B related HR tasks such as staff uniform inventory, lockers, and keys
  • F&B Office telephone correspondence, emails, filing and clerical duties
  • Maintain an up-to-date electronic and physical filing system
  • Communication with F&B Outlets and HTM Departments
  • Maintain vendor and supplier information, company addresses, contacts, and emails
  • Create and maintain a positive working relationship with F&B staff members
  • Assist in documenting F&B Health and Safety policies and procedures

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry
  • experience in a high volume administration role
  • Language skills: Japanese native, some English desirable
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office, PMS, POS
  • Valid driving licence
  • Professional, courteous and friendly manner
  • Understanding of supply procurement, able to to secure value for money
  • Ability to take part in the local community, be respected and trusted by community stakeholders
  • Shows high levels attention to detail and ability to organise work to achieve objectives and deadlines

Employment Package Details

Employment Period: on going

Employment Status: Full time year round

Contract Value: ¥2,800,000 to ¥3,200,000 (including public holiday payments and ¥100,000 for lift pass)

Location: Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan

Working Hours: average 40 hours per week (5 x 8 hour shifts, shift times vary by season)
