Em arrived in Niseko with a love for Japan, having previously lived and traveled here. Her warm, gentle nature and Barista experience from Melbourne made her a fantastic addition to the Skye Niseko Café Deli team. Her radiant presence and dedication to exceptional customer service made her a perfect fit for the role, and she will be truly missed by both colleagues and guests alike.

Snowboarding! When the sun is out and there is fresh powder it’s absolutely breathtaking. It makes me really grateful to see such beauty on a regular basis. I enjoy a coffee, especially at the local cafe’s - there’s a few hidden gems run by wonderful people who are always happy to chat.

Working at the café in a small team has been really lovely, as I have become close with all of my coworkers during the season. We’ve always got each other’s back and I’ve made some special connections I can treasure for life.

Be careful! The worst injuries I’ve seen aren’t from the slopes and you can get carried away quite easily in the endless sea of activities available - look out for yourself and always look out for your friends.
