HTM Hosts Orphan Ski Day for Third Year Running

02 April, 2017

HTM has organised and held Orphan Ski Days again this year as a regional contribution to the community of Niseko. Now in its third year running, the event is a co-operative sponsorship between Tokyu Resort Services, An Dining and GoSnow, with Hokkaido Tourism Management (HTM) organising the event.

These two spring ski days held on March 29th and 30th, 2017, gave local orphaned children the opportunity to have fun on the slopes and to gain new skills in skiing with the help of this community initiative. GoSnow sponsored ski lessons and races for the children while Tokyu donated free lift passes and the ski race equipment. An Dining located at Ki Niseko, was proud to sponsor the lunches for this very special event.

The 2017 Orphan Ski Day events have been featured in the Hokkaido Newspaper and has showcased the kids enjoying spring skiing with our instructors.
