HTM - Business Systems Officer: ¥3.9 - 4.7m
HTM, the largest independent property management company in Niseko, Hokkaido is seeking a detail-oriented individual with an interest in IT systems to join as our full-time Business Systems Officer. This role focuses on operational and revenue management systems and is ideal for someone aiming to build a career in revenue management or IT systems. This position reports to the Business Systems Supervisor in our IT department and is based full-time in Niseko, Japan.
Niseko is a thriving international alpine destination, famous worldwide for its snow, food and jet-set clientele.

Our day-to-day operations for each of those businesses relies on several essential software systems. These may be internally developed, provided by third parties, or web-based such as online travel agents. These systems underpin daily operations and power our online bookings. We support hundreds of staff and thousands of bookings every year.
Prior IT or hotel experience is not required; training will be provided. This position offers the chance to develop your career while living in one of the world’s premier ski resort destinations.

The Role
- Manage and maintain core business systems, including product, rate, and discount setup.
- Support process improvements in areas such as roster management, revenue reporting, and data accuracy.
- Provide training and support to team members across our brands.
- Test new developments in our systems and recommend improvements to better meet business needs.
- Optimise workflows and improve system efficiency.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Required:
- Strong logical reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create simple checks to ensure accuracy.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in data management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent English.
Advantage:
- Knowledge of Property Management, Online Booking, Channel Management or Revenue Management systems.
- Knowledge of IT systems, hardware or software, programming (especially SQL, JavaScript or automation scripting).
- Experience in hotels, reservations or revenue management.
- Japanese language ability.
- Japanese or international driving license.
Employment Package Details
Employment Status: Ongoing contract with visa sponsorship available
Contract Value: ¥3,900,000 to ¥4,700,000
(The above remuneration will be divided by 14 and paid monthly with two annual bonuses.)
Location: Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan
Working Hours: average 40 hours per week (shift times vary by season)
