Main responsibilities include;

1. IT systems operation management

• Helpdesk support for PC, Windows/Mac, software, network, printers, etc
• Building and configuring PCs/Macs
• User account management
• Communicating with 3rd party help desks in case of system trouble.

2. IT support for HTM-managed facilities

• Wi-Fi settings, troubleshooting
• IT troubleshooting support for hotel guests and property owners

3. Communication and management with suppliers

• Coordination with suppliers for telephone, internet, and mobile device contract management.
• Procurement of IT equipment

　You will be supporting all of our internal systems.

• Basic knowledge of IT, Networking, TCP/IP and Windows 10/MacOS Troubleshooting.
• Customer service skills to empathetically respond to end user inquiries and issues. A positive, flexible, hard-working attitude required.
• Communication skills to effectively relay technical concepts to telecommunication providers with diverse levels of knowledge and understanding.
• Motivation to learn (see below!)
• Japanese language skills an advantage
• Regular driving license required.

• PowerShell, Bash, GAS, and SOE image creation/deployment.
• Configuration and management of Unix/Windows servers, firewalls, VPN, routers, AP's and switches.
• Server virtualization, administration.
• VOIP phone system configuration/deployment.
• Monitoring solutions for servers and Routers/AP.
• VPN configurations and management.
• GSuite Management

Employment Status: Ongoing contract with visa sponsorship available

Contract Value: ¥5,000,000 to ¥6,000,000
(The above remuneration will be divided by 14 and paid monthly with two annual bonuses.)

Location: Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan

Working Hours: average 40 hours per week (shift times vary by season)
