The Role

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Handling bookings for winter services such as lift tickets, ski/snowboard lessons, equipment rental, airport transfers etc. via email, phone and in-house Guests.
  • Handling restaurant bookings and other general enquiries from Guests.
  • Checking bookings in the systems to ensure all details are accurate.
  • Assist in training the winter Concierge team.
  • Proactively contacting Guests to ensure Concierge bookings are made early and issues of availability are avoided.
  • Assisting Front Desk, Bell, Restaurant Front of House and Housekeeping when necessary.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Previous experience and success in the travel or hospitality industry in a telephone based or face to face sales and service role (preferred).
  • Professional, courteous and friendly telephone manner that supports the creation of positive impressions with all callers.
  • Well-developed written communication skills that facilitate clear and accurate responses to enquiries.
  • Able to work as part of a team in order to effectively share and complete tasks and provide service coverage where required.
  • Demonstrates high levels of accuracy to ensure Concierge services are booked correctly and that all relevant guest information is collected.
  • Able to prioritise and organise work to achieve objectives and deadlines.
  • Computer operating skills - Microsoft Office Suite (essential) with reservations systems experience (preferred).
  • English is a must, and the ability to speak a second language (Chinese or Japanese) is a plus.

Employment Package Details

Employment Status: Ongoing contract with visa sponsorship available

Contract Value: ¥3,700,000 to ¥4,100,000
(The above remuneration will be divided by 14 and paid monthly with two annual bonuses.)

Location: Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan

Working Hours: average 40 hours per week (shift times vary by season)
