HTM is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the Sales and Marketing team during the busy winter period.

HTM is the leading supplier of premier and luxury accommodation in Niseko-Hirafu Alpine Resort, Hokkaido, Japan. Niseko-Hirafu is the fastest growing international alpine resort with most international guests coming from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK. Start Date: 4 November 2024 (flexible)

Digital Marketing - help update content on our brand websites to drive interest in our brands. The position includes publishing blog articles and EDMs.

Social Media - update Social Media for all HTM brands. Respond to Comments, Messages and Reviews. Will also take simple photos and video for social media purposes.

Influencers - assist in coordination of influencer and partner visits and collaborations.

Events & Promotions - assist in organisation and running of small events and promotions for holiday Guests.

• Professional, courteous and friendly manner.
• Well-developed English written communication skills that facilitate clear and effective marketing. Japanese language ability a bonus.
• An active and passionate user of social media essential with experience managing corporate accounts and content planning.
• A tech-savvy person with an interest in online media and digital trends.
• Experience with online writing preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be flexible.
• Able to prioritise and organise work to achieve objectives and deadlines.
• Demonstrates high levels of accuracy when promoting the company’s brands through online media.
• Able to work as part of a team in order to effectively share and complete tasks and provide service coverage where required.
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, social media skills (essential), design skills (preferred).
• Passionate about the ski industry and/or tourism.
  
• Knowledge of HTM products/services and Niseko.
• Ability to drive in Japan on either an international driving permit or Japanese driver's licence.

Pay Rate

• ¥1,600 - ¥1,750 per hour.
• 25% overtime allowance for hours worked above prescribed working hours for the month.
• 25% late night allowance for work between 10pm and 5am.

Employment Period

• 4 Nov, 2024 - 28 Mar, 2025 (flexible).
• Fully paid training at the start of the season.

Hours

• Generally 5 days per week, around 40 hours per week.

Lift Passes

• Your own Free Grand Hirafu season pass with an option of upgrading to All Mountain at an additional cost.
• If you do not need a pass, you will be offered a bonus payment of ¥45,000.

Travel Support Bonus

• ¥30,000 travel cost support bonus upon contract completion.

Subsidised Accommodation and Staff Shuttle

• Subsidised staff accommodation available in Hirafu or Kutchan starting from ¥5,000 per month quad share, ¥15,000 twin share (or double for couples) with all utilities, basic supplies and WiFi included.
• Free Staff shuttle available to Kutchan Town for shopping.

Free Ski & Snowboard Lessons

• Great for first-timers and beginners - free ski/snowboard group lessons with GoSnow (dependent on availability.)

• Discounts on stays, restaurants, rentals, massages and more with HTM operated businesses.
